Call 404-252-2927 to sign up.Creative Problem Solving in Watercolor Thursdays, 10:00-1:00, 10 weeks, Classes Begin July 8 Students will refine skills in composition, planning, value, paint handling, and color in watercolor. The class will include live demonstrations as well as lots of individual instruction from a critically acclaimed watercolorist on how to take their watercolor skills to the next level. Students may work from a still life set-up or bring their own reference materials. --- Supply List Painting and Drawing Heads in Any Medium Thursdays,1:30pm - 4:30pm, 10 weeks, Classes Begin July 8 Explore the excitement and challenge of drawing and painting the head in the medium of your choice. Working from a live model, participants will learn specific techniques for rendering heads and faces that are solid, convincing, and alive. The course will begin with rendering the head in black and white, and color will be introduced as the quarter progresses. This course will include a combination of exercises and live demonstrations. Drawing experience is a prerequisite for this intermediate level course. A model fee of approximately $50 will be collected at the first class. --- Supply List Paintng and Drawing the Figure in Any Medium Thursdays, 6:30pm - 9:30pm, 10 weeks, Classes Begin July 8 In this course, students will refine their understanding of the structure of the human figure, with special emphasis on heads and hands. Using the medium of the student’s choosing, we will explore the effects of light and shadow on the major planes of the figure. Students may work in color if they prefer. This class will focus on long poses, and is an ideal course for students who want to take their figure drawing skills to the next level. A model fee of approximately $50 will be collected at the first class. --- Supply List |
