Mobility is the most important
consideration for plein air work. Travel as lightly as possible. It will
probably take some time to figure out what works best for you. If you are
unsure about what to get, bring what you have and we'll work out the details
the first day of class. |

I sit on a small stool and paint with a
watercolor block in my lap. You may prefer to use a portable easel. If you
prefer an easel, you will need a way to attach your water container to the
easel, in part so you can reach your water and in part to keep the easel
weighted. |
